Dr. Beau Peelle
Co-Founder & President

Beau Peelle, Ph.D. is Co-Founder & President of Clean Energy Experts, a firm dedicated to accelerating the adoption of cost-effective energy saving products and technologies through education and awareness. The company’s mission grew from Beau’s beliefs that the environment and human health are precious resources, and going green can provide financial benefits to homeowners and businesses alike. Beau runs the company along with Eren Atesmen, Co-Founder & President and Reginald A. Norris, EVP & General Counsel from their headquarters in Los Angeles, California.

Beau merged his innovation, strategy and management experience with his longstanding interests in environmental protection with the founding of Clean Energy Experts. He saw the opportunity to make a difference in today’s energy markets by simplifying the decision process for consumers to go green and effectively connecting them to reputable suppliers of proven technologies. Beau has been a member of The Nature Conservancy and World Wildlife Fund since high school.

Prior to founding Clean Energy Experts, Beau was a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) advising private equity firms, Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, and government entities on business strategy, investments, and operational efficiency in healthcare, energy, technology and media. Cornerstone projects in energy included leading BCG’s internal Greening initiatives, reshaping the Port of Los Angeles operations to eliminate 18,000 dirty diesel trucks, and preparing California utility companies to support adoption of plug-in electric vehicles. Prior to BCG, Beau helped build the core platform technology for a successful biotech start-up to IPO, Rigel Pharmaceuticals, ran an independent technology venture consulting group, and researched at the Stanford University Medical School. He has 10 U.S. patents filed or pending and has published in leading scientific and business journals, including the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and BusinessWeek. He holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering & Advanced Materials from MIT and a B.S. in Biology & Economics from Stanford University.

Eren Atesmen
Co-Founder & President

Eren is Co-Founder & President of Clean Energy Experts, a firm dedicated to accelerating the adoption of cost-effective energy saving products and technologies through education and awareness. The company’s mission stems from his belief that education and awareness are the greatest barriers to the adoption of clean energy technologies. Eren runs the company along with Dr. Beau Peelle, Co-Founder & President and Reginald A. Norris, EVP & General Counsel from their headquarters in Los Angeles, California.

Eren brought his marketing and analytics expertise to the consumer energy markets with the founding of Clean Energy Experts. Growing up in California, Eren always had an affinity for energy conservation and strongly believes that education is a critical stepping stone towards the ultimate goal of changing consumer behaviors and mentality as they relate to energy consumption. An active member of the Aspen Institute Socrates Society, Eren has participated in a number of events focused on developing a long term environmental policy in the United States and abroad.

Prior to co-founding Clean Energy Experts, Eren headed the west coast division of a private equitybacked online marketing agency. He was a Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) advising Fortune 100 consumer and media companies on business strategy. Earlier, Eren was an Electro-Mechanical Engineer and Engineering Manager at Velocity11 which was acquired by Agilent Technologies in 2007. He completed a MBA and Masters in Engineering Management at The Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University where he majored in Finance, Marketing and Strategy and was co-president of the Ski Team. He holds a M.S. and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.

Reginald A. Norris
Executive Vice President & General Counsel

Reginald Norris is Executive Vice President & General Counsel for Clean Energy Experts, a firm dedicated to accelerating the adoption of cost-effective energy saving products and technologies through education and awareness. Reggie brought to bear his experience in socially responsible start-up operations and legal expertise to Clean Energy Experts. He joined founders and Stanford classmates Dr. Beau Peelle and Eren Atesmen in early 2009, and is located in San Diego, California.

Prior to joining Clean Energy Experts, Reggie was Chief Operations Officer and General Counsel for one of the first completely carbon-neutral bottled water companies in the U.S., NIKA Water Company, which donates 100% of its profits to support projects that bring clean water and safe sanitation to under-developed areas around the world. While with NIKA, Reggie’s focus was on brand management, business development, multi-channel product distribution as well as day-to-day operations.

Prior to NIKA, Reggie was a Corporate & Securities Associate for Wilson Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati. Reggie’s practice focused on representing high-growth consumer and technology focused start-up companies with business formation, venture capital, debt financings and mergers & acquisitions. In addition, Reggie also specialized in initial public offerings, secondary public offerings as well as assisting his more mature clients with their disclosure obligations under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Earlier, Reggie was a Staff Attorney for the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. He holds a L.L.M. from University of San Diego School of Law, J.D. from University of California, Hastings College of the Law and an A.B. in English from Stanford University. He is also a licensed real estate broker with the state of California.

Tami Siewruk is Chief Imagination Officer for Multifamilypro, a leading provider of tools, information, and publications that support the multifamily industry and its most successful and innovative professionals.  Tami began leasing apartments in 1976, and has held leasing, marketing, management, and business development positions up to and including Vice President of Property Management.  Having begun her career on the front lines, she has maintained a career-long passion for staying connected to the day-to-day challenges faced by apartment professionals at every level, and for connecting them with the resources they need to succeed!  Her other guiding passion—and special talent—is for spotting trends, and framing them within the context of our industry to not only identify their implications to our future, but to spotlight ways that we can immediately begin capitalizing on them today.

Tami speaks not only from a rare level and breadth of real-world experience in all facets of property management, but also as an owner and developer of award winning apartment communities in four states.  As President of Siewruk Development, she has completed a 192-unit apartment community in Austin, Texas; and in partnership with Conine Residential Group & The Huizinga Group, developed 305 units in Dallas, Texas.

Tami is a co-author of NAHB’s highly successful book, How to Excel in Leasing Apartments, and the Certified Leasing Professional Course. She has served on Committees for RAM Digest, Certified Leasing Agent, Pillars of the Industry, and Multi-Housing World; and the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) Multifamily Councils’ Membership Committee. In addition, she served as Editor of NAHB’s Multifamily Management magazine and as Chairman for the NAHB Multifamily Council sub-committee.  Tami has authored several leading industry publications, including Multifamilypro’s popular 101 Secrets to Relationship Leasing, and How To Write a Winning Apartment Marketing Plan.  Multifamilypro’s “Big Book” series—including proven traffic generation and management ideas—are mainstays on the bookshelves of apartment communities from coast to coast.
